The Markham Speed Skating Club welcomes people of all ages, skills, and objectives to participate in the sport of
indoor short-track speed skating for recreation, competition, and, above all, for fun.
The Club is located in Markham, Ontario, Canada, at the northeastern outskirts of Toronto.

RACE MEETS

Members will race at the upcoming OSSA short track competitions:
· Ontario Cup #4 on January 28-29 in Belleville              
· Silver #9 in Toronto on February 4-5 in Toronto          
· Ontario Championships on February 25-26 in Kingston
· Ontario Winter Games on March 9-10 in Barrie.            

INTACT DAYS ON SKATES

Intact Insurance will host Days on Skates at Toronto's Harbourfront ice rink on Sat/Sun Feb. 11/12
with multiple Olympic medalists Catriona LeMay Doan and Kristina Groves as special guests.
Members of the Club will assist the public try speed skating and perform demonstrations.

ICE TIME for 2011 - 2012 SEASON

Our regular ice times are on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on both evenings
at the Mount Joy Community Centre in Markham.
The younger and beginner skaters have the first hour (7-8 p.m.)
and the more experienced skaters have the second hour (8-9 p.m.).
